Eclipse is the world’s first digital console to offer fully integrated multi-track recording via INNOVASON’s unique M.A.R.S Multi-track Audio Recording System. It is also incredibly powerful for its tiny footprint, enabling you to mix up to 104 inputs simultaneously into 48 mix busses with the capacity to manage up to 320 inputs on the console using up to five remote audio racks.
The control surface is furnished with 48 faders and 48 fully configurable rotary knobs (spread over four layers). The concept is called SmartPanel and effectively gives you 96 “faders”, taking INNOVASON’s original SmartFAD concept to the next level. As a result, Eclipse is truly a multipurpose console, equally at home at FoH, monitors or in an OB van. No other console offers such flexibility of configuration and personalisation.

I/O and FX cards
- All cards operate at a 24-bit resolution and a frequency of 48 KHz (43-49KHz if platform is Synchronised to an external signal)
- SI-8D3: eight mic/line inputs on eight balanced XLRs. The SI-8D3, which incorporates eight extremely high quality pre-amps, is the origin of the legendary
- INNOVASON sound quality. Gain is adjustable from -27 to +63dB
- DI-8S: four inputs on four balanced XLRs provide eight AES input channels
- DI-8Src: four inputs on four balanced XLRs provide eight AES input channels, each of which has its own SRC (sample rate converter). Accepts AES signal with a frequency from 32-56KHz
- UM-8PO: eight analog outputs on eight balanced XLRs. Each pair of outputs is switchable to AES. The eight audio channels are also available as ADAT via a TOSlink connector. Each output is fully processed including 8-band parametric
- EQ, 31-band graphic EQ, Gate, Compressor, Delay. Output level adjustable from10.5-22dBu
- FM-8VB: Eight-channel I/O module with, between each I/O, four effects engines, each of which can receive a VB Audio plug-in with Reverb, Delay, Chorus, Flanger, Phasing, De-esser/Ducker, Compressor, Limiter, Expander, Parametric EQ and Graphic EQ inside.

NOVA 1.0 needs:
The DSP firmware 4, the FM_8VB firmware 1.1.51 and the UM-8PO firmware 3.1.80 (these firmwares are available on your USB key or in the “firmware” folder of Nova after you have installed it)
The MCoptical firmware 7.0 and SCoptical firmware 4.0 (if it is not the case, you will need the Eeproms, please contact your distributor for that)
